Hometown For The Holidays

The Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce is hosting Hometown for the Holidays – 30 Days of Community Celebrations & Cheer to promote local shopping, camaraderie and customer appreciation through this holiday season. Main Street is a staple of “small-town” America, and ours needs your support.

Think local when shopping for your loved ones and come celebrate with us. Wine tastings, open houses, paint n sips, tree decorating, specials, discounts, long hours, extra days, tree lightings, hand-crafted items, gift certificates to your favorite places, vintage clothing, gift certificate drawings, country kitch, cookies, cider, outdoor gear, art exhibits, sporting goods and of course Santa, Santa, Santa. These are just a few of the things to anticipate.

Avoid the “big-box stores”, hassle and long drives to get cozy & comfortable with your neighbors. From Small Business Saturday 11/25 through December 23rd you get a big bonus, for EVERY $20 you spend at participating businesses you get an entry into the Sleigh of Goodies drawing. Three winners will be drawn at 7:30pm on December 23rd.

Brandenburg Bakery

If the holiday’s had a taste, the official flavor would be the Brandenburg. This cozy chic bakery will leave you staring through the glass display cases for far too long while you decide on the perfect European pastry. Not only do they offer a delicious selection of prepared soups and sandwiches perfect for taking a break for lunch during your shopping spree, they offer a wide selection of specialty coffees and teas. For a uniquely yummy gift that will be a real crowd pleaser, ask about how to order a handmade gingerbread house that is sure to please even the pickiest of gift receivers.
